Edrich established CherYsh America Foundation; a New York registered public 501(c) (3) charity. Our compelling vision is based on economic opportunity growth enabled by modern micro energy cooperatives in low-income communities that leads to a new asset market. Over 30% of U.S. households are designated by the Department of HHS as ‘energy insecure’ that cannot afford utility bills. We expect modern energy in low-income communities to further enable the education of girl children in the journey from lives towards womanhood livelihood with participatory economic development. This mission is developed on the growing body of evidence of a world shift towards the ‘economics of enough’. In prioritizing the need of young girls and women in low-income communities, the nonprofit focused economic segment will reduce overall resource consumption, incorporate ecological and social costs, and require less government support in the process.
